Code of Conduct

  1. Cieľ

    Tím WordCamp Bratislava si myslí, že naša komunita by mala byť otvorená naozaj pre všetkých. Zaväzujeme sa preto poskytnúť priateľské a príjemné prostredie nezávisle od rodu, sexuálnej orientácie, postihnutia, národnosti, náboženstva, preferovaného operačného systému, programovacieho jazyku či textového editora našich návštevníkov.

    Tento kódex stanovuje isté pravidlá očakávaného správania návštevníkov, rovnako ako následky správania sa, ktoré bude proti týmto pravidlám.

    Pozývame všetkých dobrovoľníkov, prednášajúcich, sponzorov, návštevníkov i ostatných zúčastnených k tomu, aby pomohli vytvoriť predpoklady pre pozitívny a bezpečný zážitok pre všetkých.

  2. Open Source občianstvo

    Doplnkovým cieľom tohto kódexu je zvýšiť povedomie o Open Source občianstve povzbudením účasníkov, aby sa nebáli vyzdvihnúť a posilniť vzťahy medzi ich prácou a širšou komunitou.

  3. Očakávané správanie

    • Buď ohľaduplný a pristupuj k ľuďom s úctou a ochotou spolupracovať.
    • Buď si vedomý svojho okolia a svojich spoluúčastníkov. Upovedom organizátorov konferencie, ak si všimneš nebezpečnú situáciu alebo niekoho v núdzi.
    • Podieľaj sa na autentickej a aktívnej účasti na konferencii WordCamp Bratislava – aj ty ju pomáhaš vytvárať.
    • Všetky priestory konferencie môžu byť prístupné verejnosti; ku všetkým členom verejnosti pristupuj s rešpektom.

  4. Neprijateľné správanie

    Neprijateľné správanie zahŕňa: zastrašovanie, obťažovanie, hrubé, diskriminačné, ponižujúce alebo inak škodlivé správanie sa návštevníkov WordCamp Bratislava a spriazdnených akcií.

    Medzi obťažovanie patrí: ofenzívne slovné vyjadrenia súvisiace s rodom, sexuálnou orientáciou, rasou, náboženstvom, postihnutím; nevhodné použitie nahoty a/alebo sexuálnych obrazov vo verejných priestoroch (vrátane prezentácií); zámerné zastrašovanie alebo prenasledovanie; obťažujúce fotografovanie alebo nahrávanie; vytrvalé prerušovanie prednášok, debát alebo iných podujatí; nevhodný fyzický kontakt, nevítané sexuálne narážky a iné prejavy pozornosti.

  5. Následky neprijateľného správania

    Neprijateľné správanie nebude tolerované ostatnými návštevníkmi, organizátormi, zamestnancami prenajatých priestorov, sponzormi ani inými priaznivcami konferencie WordCamp Bratislava.

    Očakávame, že každý, kto bude upozornený aby s takýmto správaním prestal, tak ukamžite urobí.

    Ak sa začne návštevník správať neprijateľne, organizátori konferencie môžu pristúpiť k akýmkoľvek krokom ktoré budú považovať za vhodné, vrátane vyhostenia z konferencie bez varovania alebo vrátenia peňazí.

  6. Čo robiť, keď si svedkom alebo obeťou neprijateľného správania

    Ak si obeťou neprijateľného správania alebo si všimneš, že je obeťou niekto iný, upovedom prosím bezodkladne organizátora konferencie.

    Tím konferencie WordCamp Bratislava je k dispozícii i na to, aby v prípade potreby pomohol účastníkom privolať bezpečnostnú službu priestorov alebo políciu, poskytol doprovod, alebo inak pomohol obetiam neprijateľného správania cítiť sa bezpečne počas trvania konferencie.
    Dobrovoľníci budú označení. Každý dobrovoľník ťa môže spojiť s organizátorom konferencie. Organizátorov môžeš tiež kontaktovať pri informačnom stole.

  7. Rozsah

    Očakávame, že týmto kódexom správania sa budú riadiť všetci účastníci konferencie (sponzori, dobrovoľníci, prednášajúci, návštevníci a aj ostatní hostia) vo všetkých priestoroch konferencie aj pridružených akcií.

  1. Purpose

    WordCamp Bratislava believes our community should be truly open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, preferred operating system, programming language, or text editor.

    This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

    We invite all sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, and other participants to help us realize a safe and positive conference experience for everyone.

  2. Open Source Citizenship

    A supplemental goal of this code of conduct is to increase open source citizenship by encouraging participants to recognize and strengthen the relationships between what we do and the community at large.

  3. Expected Behavior

    • Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
    • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech.
    • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Alert conference organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
    • Participate in an authentic and active way. In doing so, you help to create WordCamp Bratislava and make it your own.

  4. Unacceptable Behavior

    Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any attendees of WordCamp Bratislava and related events. All
    WordCamp Bratislava venues may be shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons of these locations.

    Harassment includes: offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability; inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides); deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

  5. Consequences Of Unacceptable Behavior

    Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by other attendees, organizers, venue staff, sponsors, or other patrons of WordCamp Bratislava venues.

    Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

    If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the conference without warning or refund.

  6. What To Do If You Witness Or Are Subject To Unacceptable Behavior

    If you are subject to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify a conference organizer as soon as possible.

    The WordCamp Bratislava team will be available to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, to provide escorts, or to otherwise assist those experiencing unacceptable behavior to feel safe for the duration of the conference. Any volunteer can connect you with a conference organizer. You can also come to the special registration desk in the lobby and ask for the organizers.

  7. Scope

    We expect all conference participants (sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, and other guests) to abide by this code of conduct at all conference venues and conference-related social events.
